At the moment, the volumes of solar panels that are being returned are still quite small, but this number will increase significantly in the coming years. PVO International is therefore taking proactive measures to recycle solar panels and related products more efficiently. The recycling industry will also invest in this.
In order to meet the requirements of future high-quality recycling, the necessary financial resources will have to be set aside now when new products are sold. PVO International will take responsibility for this by ensuring payment of the disposal fee. This has already been done, but until now it was not visible for you as a customer. From 1 July 2022, the disposal fee will become a visible part of the quote. The disposal fee will then be transferred by PVO to take-e-way. This company takes over the requirements and obligations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (WEEE/ElektroG) for businesses according to the environmental EU legislation.
