ValkPitched – Insert

With PV installations, equalization of all metal parts is necessary, so too with insert systems. Because the panel frame does not make conductive contact with the insert, this requires extra attention. By applying the new, special stainless steel equalization clip, this can be achieved easily and quickly for each solar panel. When properly clamped between the insert profile and the panel frame, these clips ensure that an electrically conductive contact is always established. At that point, the anodization layer of the panel frame is broken.

New at Van der Valk Solar Systems

For application of the ValkPro+ system on flat roofs with a PVC roof membrane, the rubber tile carriers have been provided with a glued, special protective layer on the underside. This layer forms a barrier between the PVC and the rubber, making migration impossible. In the latest version, a plastic slipper is attached to the underside of the rubber tile carrier by means of two lugs that engage in the recesses on the underside of the tile carrier. Thanks to the new method, this no longer needs to be glued and the materials are also easier to separate for recycling.

Van der Valk Solar Systems: transition to XXL lengths for Side++ profiles

Van der Valk Solar Systems has announced that it is once again adapting the lengths of the Side++ profiles for the ValkPitched Clamp systems. The current profile lengths will be replaced by the new “XXL” version in the near future. These XXL lengths are tailored to the application of solar panels with a width of up to 1134 mm in portrait orientation.

NEW AT ESDEC: CLICKFIT EVO HANGER BOLT

ClickFit EVO, the mounting system for solar panels on pitched roofs, has been expanded to include a hanger bolt solution for new types of pitched roofs. This makes it possible to install solar panels on many different roof types with the familiar components. The system consists of only 4 components and is therefore easy to use on both existing and new roofs.

This hanger bolt is equipped with the well-known (universal) ClickFit EVO click connection and is therefore easy to continue working with the familiar components of the ClickFit EVO line. In addition, you easily and quickly catch roof unevenness up to 10 degrees with the flexible adapter.

Van Der Valk Solar Systems: Length change thread-forming bolt

Van Der Valk Solar Systems announces that it will shortly change the length of the thread-forming bolts, used for the fixation of the side and back plates of the ValkPro+ system. The length will again go back from 10 to 20mm. Until recently, a bolt length of 10mm was required because the thread-forming bolt could potentially get in the way of the panel clamp bolt in the back foot. This risk no longer exists because the bolt length for the rear foot clamp has changed.

Van Der Valk Solar Systems removes black Side++ profiles from product range

Van Der Valk Solar Systems has announced that they will be removing the black coated Side++ profiles and associated connection piece from the standard range as of 1 July 2022. The reason for this change is that demand for black profiles has been very low for some time. The coated 2-metre lengths will remain available per full pack.

Van Der Valk Solar Systems: modification of Trapezium profiles

Van Der Valk Solar Systems has announced that as of mid-July it will provide its 120mm trapezoidal profiles with four fixing holes. Previously, these were two fixing holes. With this change, it will be possible to secure the profiles with more screws / rivets if necessary, this is usually in regions with high wind loads.
