    • Tier 1 solar panel manufacturers must meet high standards. These requirements have been drawn up by Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
    • For instance, the manufacturer must produce via a vertically integrated and fully automated production system.
    • In addition, the manufacturer must invest in research and development (R&D) and have been producing solar panels for at least 5 years.
